Time to catch up in this here blog.

It’s been an interesting past couple of weeks. Three weeks ago, I conducted an experiment which is also the subject of a new documentary that I’m working on. Here’s the premise:

Take someone who has never play World of Warcraft and lock him in a room for a week and make him play (and film everything). The experiment took place in my guestroom. In the room is a mattress, and a computer. He’s not allowed to leave his room unless he needs to eat or use the bathroom. Nothing else, not even a shower should take him away from his game playing.

The experiment is over and it went very well. He’s now having withdrawals and delusions of Night Elves and quest givers.

The following weekend, my friends and I saw some really awesome industrial bands play at a pretty cool club in Nashville called Code Blue. Hell Trash and Panzer AG put on one hell of a show.

This week is pretty busy with getting ready to go to BlizzCon in California in about a week and a half. More later.

The pollen is in the air and has been attacking my allergies. Did you know the word “allergy” was coined by the Viennese pediatrician Clemens von Pirquet in 1906? I’ve missed about a week and a half of work, but I’m back at the office now and feeling great. From my office, I have a nice view of a pond and can see the ducks frolicking and makes me want to frolick as well. Frolic comes from the German word, fröhlich - which means happy. A very educational blog entry huh?

We have completed our second teaser for the World of WoW. We all worked on this one for about 2 months, and we’re very proud of how it turned out. We will need some voice actors for the next part so let us know if you wanna help out.

I haven’t touched Lightwave3D in years, but I wanted to create a WarcraftMovies.com logo so that we could help promote their site. So I fired up Lightwave, and amazingly I remembered everything about it, even the hotkeys. That logo was super fun to do, and as a kid I was always fascinated with the 20th Century Fox logo, so recreating that was too cool.
